Heritage-Sensitive Luxury Home Renovation
Middle Park House
Pascon completed this heritage-sensitive luxury home in Middle Park, Melbourne. The project involved working within Middle Park’s protected streetscape to deliver a home with arched doorways, herringbone timber floors, a bespoke kitchen, and living spaces that open to the garden, demonstrating that contextual, heritage-aware construction and high-end luxury finishing are not competing priorities.
Middle Park
A Luxury Home That Earns Its Streetscape Custom Home
Middle Park’s streets took generations to reach the character they have today. Heritage overlays, consistent Victorian and Edwardian setbacks, established tree canopy, it’s a built environment where new work is immediately visible and quickly judged. Getting it right here means starting with the suburb, not the brief.
Pascon approached this project by listening to the street first. The result is a home that sits comfortably in its context from the outside and then opens into something considerably more generous once you’re inside where the herringbone floors, arched doorways, and bespoke kitchen make clear that heritage sensitivity was never a constraint, just the starting point.
Building in Middle Park
Middle Park is one of Melbourne’s most tightly held and character-rich inner suburbs, bounded by Albert Park Lake, the bay, and the tree-lined streets of its Victorian-era grid. Heritage overlays cover much of the suburb, which means any new build or substantial renovation requires a builder who understands how to work within that framework without sacrificing what the client actually came for. This project is the evidence.
